Dream Engine has produced, edited, and shot documentary films funded by organisations including the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Festivals Australia, Telstra Countrywide and the Next Wave Festival.Through our documentary work we aim to challenge assumptions, and invite new ways of looking at the world. "Dreams of Freedom" has become a very powerful tool in the process of reconciliation, as well as a very relevant resource for Primary and Secondary schools in their SOSE classes and for special projects throughout NAIDOC and Reconciliation weeks.
Through "Dreams of Freedom" Ryan from Dream Engine formed a strong relationship with this community. Ryan has been a perfect example of an artist coming in and working well with a range of people varying in age and ability. He is very open-minded and respectful, with a great combination of being easy-going and professional in his work and teaching.
We have felt incredibly fortunate to have had Ryan as part of our Festival programme.
