Turning Digital Transformation Into a Clear Customer Story
Suntory Oceania was preparing for a major expansion, supported by a digital foundation connecting manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and sales.
Dream Engine produced this customer story video for DXC, showing how the two organisations worked together to deliver a complex transformation while keeping the story grounded in people, partnership and business outcomes.
Project Snapshot
- Client: DXC Technology
- Customer featured: Suntory Oceania
- Industry: Technology and manufacturing
- Deliverable: Customer story video
- Purpose: Communicate a complex digital transformation and measurable business outcomes
Turning a Complex Project Into a Clear Story
The transformation included an SAP upgrade, enterprise warehouse management, integrated manufacturing planning and customer experience systems.
Our job was to bring those elements together in a story that business audiences could understand. The finished video explains what changed, why it mattered and how the work supported Suntory Oceania’s next stage of growth.
This balance between technical detail and clear business communication is central to our technology video production work.
A People-Led Approach
Technology projects can easily become abstract. We built the story around the people responsible for the transformation, using interviews to explain the challenge, the working relationship and the practical impact of the new digital core.
The contributors describe DXC as an extension of the Suntory Oceania team. That sense of partnership gives the video its emotional centre and makes the technical story more credible.
Showing the Transformation in Action
Interview footage is supported by scenes from Suntory Oceania’s production environment, including the automated facility and the systems that help keep operations moving.
The visuals give viewers a sense of the project’s scale. The facility is designed to produce up to 90,000 cans per hour on each line and around 40 million cases a year.
Communicating Measurable Outcomes
The video turns the digital transformation into a concise set of business outcomes:
- Operational stability and service levels maintained
- Faster, data-driven decision-making
- Stronger customer engagement
A Future-Focused Customer Story
The finished film connects the work already delivered with what comes next. Suntory Oceania now has a stronger platform for data, analytics and AI, while DXC has a clear customer story that demonstrates both technical capability and a genuine long-term partnership.
By combining executive interviews, operational footage and clear outcome-led messaging, the video makes a large-scale transformation understandable without losing its complexity or credibility.
