The Meydan Group
Meydan Group is an Australian family business that has grown into a diverse organisation since its beginnings in 1982. They approached us to refresh their marketing and create a video that explained who they are, what they do, and the values that hold their group together. With interests across textiles, software, and property management, they needed a clear and cohesive story that could represent the whole organisation.
The Challenge
Meydan had grown steadily over several decades, yet much of its story lived only inside the business. New partners, clients, and team members often saw only one part of the group, not the bigger picture. They needed a video that could introduce the organisation in a simple, human way. Something that captured their history, breadth of expertise, and strong family connection.
Our Approach
Our goal was to create a refined corporate branding video that matched the professionalism of the business. We filmed a series of interviews at their Collins Street headquarters, featuring senior leaders from across multiple divisions. By asking consistent questions, we were able to build a narrative that flowed smoothly across different voices while maintaining a unified message.
Alongside the interviews, we captured footage of the team at work and of the locations and properties under Meydan management. This mix of personal insight and real-world visuals helped us present a complete picture of the organisation.
Filming
The project took place over several shoot days. We filmed interviews in their Collins Street boardroom and offices, using natural light where possible to maintain an elegant and relaxed feel. For property and location footage, we used cinematic movement to create a sense of scale and place. The aim was to give viewers a calm, polished visual experience that suited the brand.
Post Production
We organised the interview content into clear themes that reflected Meydan’s story. The edit combined interviews, office footage, property shots, and motion graphics into one smooth narrative. Colour grading helped create a consistent look across the different locations and cameras we used throughout the project.
The Outcome
The final video gave Meydan Group a strong and cohesive way to introduce their organisation. It helped them present their history, purpose, and values with clarity, making it easier for new partners and stakeholders to understand the full scope of the business. The video now serves as a key marketing and onboarding tool for the group.
