The ROIG Group, based in the United States, secured a major Australian client, The Good Guys, headquartered at Essendon Fields in Melbourne. They needed a video production company in Melbourne that could match the commitment, reliability, and attention to detail of their production partners in the US.
Solution
Dream Engine supplied ROIG with an Australia-wide video production team. We provided video production crews in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and completed the post-production work in our Melbourne studio.
ROIG initially sent a producer to Australia for each shoot. As the working relationship developed, its producers stayed in the USA while Dream Engine managed the Australian filming and local production requirements. Our work for ROIG has included:
- Handling pre-production for upcoming shoots
- Commissioning local voiceovers
- Editing content for staff training videos
- Completing pre-edits to prepare footage for ROIG’s US-based editors
- Supplying footage to the USA via hard-drive courier
Results
This arrangement gave ROIG Australian filming and post-production support for its client. Dream Engine could manage local shoots while ROIG’s producers worked from the USA, avoiding the time and travel costs of sending a producer to Australia for each filming day.
