Dream Engine recently completed a video production shoot at East Melbourne Public Library. The video production was created for the Public Libraries Victoria Network. The purpose of the video is to promote libraries in Melbourne and across Victoria. To highlight the range of services available, and emphasise the community aspect that local libraries provide.
Filming took place at East Melbourne public library, as well as other locations in Melbourne. Our video production crew consisted of director of photography, camera assistant, director, continuity and make-up.
Initially a storyboard was created to plan each shot. The storyboard was an effective tool to translate the vision of the client, and communicate the requirements to the director of photography.
We had access to the East Melbourne Public Library during its half-day closure. A carefully composed schedule ensured that the video production remained on track, and we could make the most of the time available to us.
The client was able to track the progress of the edit through accessing our online work area, and providing feedback.
