Background
Two Days at DXC’s Regional Sales Kick-off
DXC Technology brought approximately 500 employees to Crown Palladium in Melbourne for its regional Sales Kick-off.
Delegates came from across APAC, Japan, the Middle East and Africa for keynote presentations, leadership sessions, networking and a gala awards dinner. DXC asked Dream Engine to capture the event in video and photographs for internal communications, recognition, social media and future promotion.
The challenge
Capturing a Large Event Without Missing the Moments That Matter
Presentations, networking, audience reactions and awards happened across different parts of the venue and could not be recreated.
The coverage also had to do several jobs after the event. DXC needed a highlights film, complete awards recordings, short social videos and a strong library of photographs.

Working From the Schedule Across Both Days
Our crew followed the Sales Kick-off from the opening sessions through to the gala dinner.
We used the event schedule to anticipate keynotes, awards and other important moments. Alongside those formal sessions, we captured audience engagement, networking, branded spaces and the interactions that showed the event’s scale and atmosphere.
The crew worked around delegates, presenters, venue staff and AV suppliers without interrupting the program. Learn more about our event video production.

Video and Photography From One Team
A dedicated photographer worked alongside the video crew throughout the conference.
DXC received keynote, networking and awards photography, candid event coverage and portraits of award winners. Coordinating both formats through one production team kept communication simple and gave the finished assets a consistent look.
The edit then turned the coverage into a main highlights film, full awards recordings and short-form social videos.

The result
One Event, a Complete Library of Content
DXC came away with a polished record of the Sales Kick-off and content prepared for different channels.
The highlights film captures the scale and culture of the event. The awards recordings preserve complete presentations, while the social edits and photographs give DXC material for internal and external communication after the conference.
