Avigilon Alta at Moonee Valley Park
Motorola Solutions asked us to show how Avigilon Alta works in an apartment building, from keyless entry to letting in visitors.
We filmed the three-minute customer story at Thomas Street Apartments in Moonee Valley Park. It shows Avigilon Alta cloud access control working with the Erin Resident app.
The challenge
Explaining the access system
The video needed to show how the system helps residents, building managers, developers and integration partners.
We needed to explain how cloud access control and digital credentials work in the building. Interviews with the project partners provided the technical detail, while a resident showed how they use the system.

Hearing from the project partners
The video includes the people who selected and integrated the system, as well as the people who manage and use it.
Motorola Solutions introduces its work in safety and security. Erin Living Technologies explains how its resident app connects with Avigilon Alta, and Hamton discusses the development. A resident describes using the system day to day.

The action
Showing visitor access and keyless entry
We used visitor access to demonstrate the system. A guest can call from downstairs, enter the building and receive lift access to the correct floor.
The example shows what a resident can do from the app when someone arrives.
We also filmed the resident using the Erin Resident app on their phone to enter without keys or an access card.
