Dream Engine produced this promotional web video for Beilby Poulden Costello Lawyers. The brief was to create a calm, credible introduction to the firm that reflected its people-focused approach and helped generate enquiries through the website.
Project Snapshot
- Client: Beilby Poulden Costello Lawyers
- Project: Promotional website video
- Goal: Introduce the firm and its approach without using aggressive sales language
- Creative style: Corporate documentary
- Content: Interviews with team members and a client
- Primary use: Firm website
The Brief
The first decision was how the firm should present itself online. A conventional sales video—with strong claims, statistics and promotional language—would not reflect the organisation’s values. The video needed to introduce the people behind the firm and establish trust without feeling pushy or overstated.
BPC’s people-focused approach made a corporate documentary the most appropriate format.
The Corporate Documentary Approach
Dream Engine interviewed several BPC team members about their legal philosophies and approach to their work. We also filmed one of the firm’s clients, who was involved in a High Court matter with the British Government and spoke about the support she had received.
These interviews created a personal connection between the viewer and the BPC team. The film did not depend on hard statistics or broad claims; it allowed the participants’ experiences and the organisation’s values to carry the story.
The Result
The promotional film was placed prominently on the firm’s website. It introduced the team to prospective clients, supported enquiries and presented the organisation in a subtle, credible way.
- Introduced the firm’s people and values.
- Built trust through genuine interviews.
- Supported website enquiries.
- Avoided an aggressive sales-video style.
